Can we help your pet?
Unsure if we can help your four-legged friend? Have a look at the Problems section of the website to read about the sorts of problems that generally respond well to our services and approach. To understand our ultimate goal, Wellness, read the section on Animal Wellness. We aim to provide animal owners with the information and support required to make informed choices regarding their animal's health and healing.

What exactly do we do?
Not sure what we do that is different from your family vet? For a more detailed explanation of the services we offer, and how they can help in the treatment and prevention of disease, have a look at the articles on acupuncture, physical rehabilitation and herbal medicine. The way we approach a patient is also important. For more information on this, have a look at the Our Approach page. We consider all the factors contributing to an animal's disease or injury and develop a tailor-made treatment program - Holistic Health Plan - combining the most appropriate therapies.

Does it work?
If you mean 'do animals respond to the therapies we offer?' then, in short, most definitely. Herbal medicine, acupuncture and physical rehabilitation are effective for a wide range of problems as listed in the Problems section. We advocate a holistic and integrated approach, where the best of all treatment options are combined to not only treat the disease, but also prevent recurrence and promote Wellness.

What do we charge?
For details on our professional fees and what to expect from a consultation take a look at the Consultation Info page.

Why do you need a referral?
We only provide treatment to horses, cats and dogs that have been referred to us by the family vet. We do not provide a first-opinion veterinary service. Your family vet retains responsibility for your pet's day-to-day veterinary care. We work hand-in-hand with your family vet to ensure your pet gets the best of all diagnostic and treatment options available. We report back to your family vet about our recommendations and treatment. See the Consultation Info page for more information on the referral procedure. For more information on our collaborative position see the article on Our Approach.

How do you get an appointment?
Consultations are by appointment only. See the Consultation Info pages for more general information on our service, fees, what to expect, getting a referral and how to book an appointment. For contact details, or a map and directions, see the Contacts page.
